hours to get into this blog

Again i have had a time getting into my blog. i have made a short cut so i hope it works every time.
the table top is grouted finally. it is one of the things i had on my to do list until the flooding came.3 times we have had flooding in my basement sewing rooms.what a mess we had,----------- but not nearly as bad as others here in Iowa.it was over whelming for us at first.
then we saw the tornado mess and the flooding in other towns.we very lucky.our loss was small compared to others.
i received 2 e-mails i find interesting.i wonder what is the answer to the questions and statements made in the e-mails.

A reader from the Wolverine State wonders:
Where are all of the Hollywood celebrities holding telethons asking for help in restoring Iowa and helping the folks affected by the floods?
Where is all the media asking the tough questions about why the federal government hasn't solved the problem? Asking where the FEMA trucks (and trailers) are?
Why isn't the Federal Government relocating Iowa people to free hotels in Chicago?
When will Spike Lee say that the Federal Government blew up the levees that failed in Des Moines?
Where are Sean Penn and the Dixie Chicks?
Where are all the looters stealing high-end tennis shoes and big screen television sets?
When will we hear Governor Chet Culver say that he wants to rebuild a 'vanilla' Iowa, because that's the way God wants it?
Where is the hysterical 24/7 media coverage complete with reports of cannibalism?
Where are the people declaring that George Bush hates white, rural people?
How come in 2 weeks, you will never hear about the Iowa flooding ever again?here is the 2nd e-mail i received. Subject: Have you seen? Have you seen the pictures from Iowa, etc. of the people looting the liquor stores, carrying away televisions from retail stores, sitting on the roof begging for someone to take care of them, collected in the baseball stadium complaining about the food and shelter being provided? Neither have I

well this is my post for the day.there are lots of pictures on my webshots pages of our local flooding.

i hope to begin to use this blog to sell some of my oil painted cloth dolls and make do's.
