Looking on line I found this picture. It is so sweet. I hope to get back to making dolls and maybe use this for an inspiration.

I love old pictures with dolls in them.

Maybe you didn't even know I make and collect dolls. Dolls in the doll room.

Did you ever have a doll purse?I did. Not this one. Mine is long gone. They zipped open in the back.

Some of my tiny dolls in the china cupboard. It is true I will never outgrow my love for dolls. Hope your week is going well. j

Yummy new recipe

new recipe

Apple Praline Bread

1 cup sour cream

1 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

2 cups flour

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled and finely chopped (2 large apples)

1 cup nuts (walnut or pecan or a combo), divided

For the praline sauce: ¼ cup brown sugar and ¼ cup butter

Micro wave 40 sec. stir micro wave again stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in 1/2 the nuts. I used 2 smaller loaf pans and baked for 40 min.

In a large loaf pan bake 1 hour 350 then glaze with praline sauce when cooled.

New nativity made in Poland.

As a gift we received a new nativity from our children. They were living in Germany and did some traveling while there. Iris is a shopper and she found this, nativity, in Poland. It is all hand made by villagers. You can find more information about the mission on line at,
