We have had some busy days.Tuesday Justine and I worked on ,making,some doll faces. She made 2 owl pincushions. There are so many things she wants to do. Many are a little complicated but we will get through them step by step. She has such interest in all things fabric.
Saturday Ziva and I took a trip to the new dog
park. It is very nice and will be even better when the new grass comes up. She got to know Abby,Batman, Cloe,
The forsythia was beautiful this year.The wind was very strong and took most of the flowers. I cut a branch to put on the porch in the crock.
I have more hexie blocks done. 14 so far.
I saw a block on pinterest and like it .I decided to try to make it.I love how you see one block then see 4.The last picture is of a table topper I was playing around with.I have 300 rail blocks and wanted to play with cutting them up and adding a plain triangle. On the small quilts group they were doing prairie points on a quilt.I used the points on this quilt.They are fun to do. So much for my week so far.Weather is colder than usual. I did get the back patio cleaned off and the Christmas tree gone. Looks really plain back there. Will be glad to get some plants out there to look as while I stitch away. Have a good week.j
